Just got an e-mail from Aunt Jeanene...Larry's cousin Marnie had her baby today... a little girl! They were some of the folks who hadn't found out what they were having in the way of the MANY family babies expected this year. They named her Paige Suzanne Bokelman and both mommy & baby are doing well! Congrats Marnie & Joel!
Admittedly Larry & I did a little happy dance that they had a girl & we're now one step closer to being able to go with our #1 baby name. We've held off on sharing names thus far because of the numerous family members having kids before we are this year. We didn't want to lay claim to a name that someone else was planning/hoping to use, but we do really have our hearts set on a particular name, so YEAH for a baby girl for the Bokelman's!
Just an FYI for any readers who didn't know about all the babies being born in our extended family in 2008...8 of my 16 first cousins on my mom's side have either had a baby in 2008 or will be having a baby in 2008. Crazy, huh? And there is at least one more having one in 2009 that we know of already! On Larry's side his cousin Marnie just had Paige & his cousin Jill is due to have a baby in February. What can we say...2008-2009 is a fertile period in our extended family!
