Continued progress ...but at a slower pace... I think.

Here's what I saw when I came by the house yesterday afternoon. As predicted by many, once the house is up the progress will look slower - all the stuff inside takes longer (or so it seems) because you can't see the drastic change at the end of the day. I guess that is OK. I'll still probably drive by the new house after school when I have time. I LOVE seeing this thing all come together. I've been dreaming of having our own (picked out by us - lived in only by us) for years - ask my family...they'll tell you! So, seeing all the parts come together now is really awesome!
So, in the 1st picture - I got a kick out of how the house looks like someone has left their mark by way of graffiti. When I ventured in I saw even more orange paint labeling things all over the place. I guess if we have to have graffiti - this is the kind to have!

I also saw that they did an initial grading of the yard - so no more giant ruts from the sky hook piece of equipment that the framing guys had been using. I think it is looking good all around now!
Look! LD's wood burning fireplace is in ... with a gas start! Nice, HUH?
The furnace is also installed (or in process of being installed!) and it looks like the bones of the bathrooms will go in very soon as all the major fixtures are housed in the garage right now! That giant blue fiberglass thing is the upstairs hall bathroom tub/shower surround.
