No pictures this time - although I'm sure I'll post some tomorrow - right now I'm just going to give the quickie version of the cool things that transpired this weekend!
1) The Condo has a buyer! A single woman is buying the condo - for almost asking price! We jumped on that & are happy that after only 2 weeks the condo is basically sold! Whoo Hoo! We got news of this all yesterday afternoon, just before we headed up North to my parents for the Easter / April birthday celebrations! Nice, huh?
2) We just got back from a very pleasant trip up to my parents for Easter & to celebrate the 3 April birthdays in our family. Larry's b-day is tomorrow, Cole Thomas is next Sunday, and my dad is next Monday. It was fun to see them all & hang out. Mom & Dad took us to the Tortilla Grill in Lansing, IL for dinner last night (to celebrate LD's birthday)! It was good! Thanks, Mom & Dad!
3) We got to spend sometime this weekend with Katie Cohen, our friend & Larry's former co-worker. She is great! When we took her & the Burai out to see the progress of the homestead on Saturday - we were amazed as the entire house is now dry-walled! I had stopped there on Thursday afternoon & none of that was done. When we stopped on Saturday it was all done! Wow those guys are fast!
4) We (Larry & I) will soon be Uncle & Auntie for the 12th time. My sister-in-law (Pete's wife, Rachel) is due tomorrow. If nothing happens before Wednesday she will be induced then. They are having a girl - name to yet be shared. If she's at all as cute as Peter, Katherine, or Madeline - she will be adorable. I had a lot of fun with Maddie today @ my mom's - she warms up to me pretty quickly and we enjoy each other.
5) Last thing is not a cool thing - but I did something to my back - it has been VERY painful yesterday & today. When I woke up this morning I could hardly walk - I partly blame the small & old bed @ my parents - not the best to sleep on, but I'm still trying to figure out what I did. This is not very fun.
