I had my 1st teaching related job interview in Champaign today. 1 pm to be exact. It was at Jefferson Middle School for an 8th grade social studies position. I think it went rather well. I guess they thought so too...on my way home I got a call scheduling a follow-up interview for Friday at 1:30! Whoo Hoo!
God is so good (& He has a sense of humor too!) I was getting kind of bummed that nothing was happening in the way of interviews, etc, and then last week I got two calls about education related job interviews. Once again I think that the Lord was teaching me a lesson or two. One, I need to rely on Him more - trust Him to know what is best & to provide. Two, I need to be more patient and wait on Him to do things in HIS time, not mine. Ok Lord, I think I get it (for now!)
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to all my friends & family who have been praying about this. I felt very calm & supported in this interview & I know it is because God was with me - giving me the peace that you all prayed for!
