I have no good excuse for not blogging lately. I have very little structure to my life right now & I'm finding that is NOT good for actually getting things done. I need schedules & structure, etc. Without those parameters I am WAY too good at putting things off & frittering away time!

Oh, I'm working on things - house cleaning, dinner making, grocery shopping, working out at the gym, resume tweaking, cover letter writing, portfolio making, etc. but even so I have to admit that I feel like I'm mostly fooling around each day!

A fairly strange thing happened to me the other day. I saw that the University High School in Urbana is looking for a social studies teacher for the 2006 - 2007 school year. So as I got my stuff together to send to them I noticed on their website that my 1st college roommate teaches there. So I e-mailed her and we e-mailed back and forth some, but then we got together for coffee at Cafe Kopi and she filled me in on what the job would be like, what Uni is like, etc. Isn't it strange how things work out? I had no idea that I would ever run into her again in my life, and here she teaches in Urbana & I'm hoping to teach somewhere here. God sure has interesting plans & surprises for us, doesn't he?

In other news, LD is going with some other guys fishing in WI next week. So, I'm going to go to KY with Mom & Dad Stephens for a few days. It will be nice to have some R&R (like my life isn't R&R every day) and enjoy the warmer weather (we had to turn our heat back on today it is so chilly here in Champaign), etc.

Well, that is about all I got - I figured after talking to Cousin Bob this morning that I should blog more often - even if I don't have much to say. Never know who's reading this! :)
