17 weeks and counting...

Here's what Babycenter has to say about our baby:
Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and he's around 5 inches long. He can move his joints, and his skeleton — until now rubbery cartilage — is starting to harden to bone. His sense of hearing is also developing. The umbilical cord, his lifeline to the placenta, is growing stronger and thicker.

I'm feeling bigger and more awkward...but to people who don't really know that I'm expecting I guess I still just look like I'm normal - or maybe a bit more pudgy than before. The ladies @ work keep commenting on how some of the clothes I wear really make me look pregnant & others really don't. Guess that is how it goes.

We have a doctor appointment next week & will have an ultrasound then. Hopefully we'll find out the gender then. Larry & I both really can't wait to know. You can trust that we'll post pictures (if they give them to us) and let others know what we learn. We're pretty excited.
