Whew...this is vacation?

I'm pooped! I've been BUSY these 1st two days of Spring Break! Yesterday I had a 9:00 am appointment with the cabinet people in Mansfield, IL. Then I ran some errands before I met LD for lunch. After lunch I came back to the condo & started cleaning & packing up stuff. I made a pretty good dent in things. I also scheduled a bunch of other things for this week while I was driving to and from Mansfield. We got the Carpet cleaners to come out today and steam clean all the carpet in the Condo - it looks so much better - but right now it is still a wee bit damp underfoot!

Today I had an 8am appointment with the carpet/tile folks - had to go pick all that out. Then I had a 10 am appointment with the lighting people - more choices. What is stressing me out a bit is staying within budget. That is really hard. I don't even want anything crazy, it just all adds up way too quickly! Between appointments I had time to go out to Savoy & rent us a storage unit right by the new house so that we can deposit some of our stuff there & have a less cluttered condo to get on the market this weekend! After my appointments I had lunch with Traci Buras and then had to head to Bloomington, IL to go pick up Jennifer from our small group. She was flying in to the airport there and needed a ride, so I offered to go get her - I'm glad I did - it was a nice drive & I was glad I could help out.

Tomorrow I head North for a day. I'm taking the train & LD has to get me to the train station by 5:45 am! Sounds fun, huh? But I get to see Beth & Debs for lunch. I also get to go have $1.99 breakfast with Grandma Gert! Whoo Hoo! Then Mom & Dad will be driving me back to Champaign & helping me out with stuff on Thursday! Nice, huh?

Oh, here are the latest pics The 1st one is from about 9:30 am today (and if you look closely you can see one of the Amish men in the garage -sorry- I did try to avoid getting him in the picture.
