Back Home in INDIANA

I'm back at the old homestead in Dyer, IN. Hanging out with my family for a few days while LD is up geeking out over his new plane.

He called me this morning while on his break - and he was sitting in N218DF soaking in the new airplane scent & pushing buttons - pretty much just geeking out. It is really cute to see him so excited about this plane & what it means we can do / new places we can go! I'm excited too!

Back here in Dyer I'm hanging with my mom (Nana to most everyone who is here right now) and about 1/2 of the kids. Peter, Curtis, Kate, & Cole are all running around competing for Nana's attention. I was able to entertain them for a few minutes with pics of the new plane. They are all dying for a ride in her. Some of them (Curt) think that maybe Uncle Larry will let them fly the new plane. I told him to dream on! The kids spent a good portion of the afternoon in the little inflatable pool that my folks have for them. When I asked if I could swim with them I got an emphatic NO - You are too big. That was ok, b/c I was getting a bit of a headache & went inside to take a little nap. I'm trying to get back to normal after having spent 3 nights in the NO-TELL MOTEL.

Anyway, most of my family will be here for dinner tonight. That is nice - it is good to see them all again!
