Old Farts?

Have we become old farts or were we already & we just didn't know it?

Here is what we did tonight ( a Friday night I might add!)

• LD got home from work & played with his new b-day toy - The infamous Blade CX
• I planned/made dinner: Hamburgers on the grill (LD did the grilling), potato salad (from Wal-mart's Deli), Pringles chips (well, LD had some, I did not), Margarita for me, Beer for LD & a fresh strawberry pie for dessert (the piece I had was yummy too!!)
• Did dishes (mom you'd be so proud) and cleaned up the kitchen while LD played with the toy some more (he's gonna be annoyed I'm calling it a toy, sorry babe!)
• Went into office & worked on resume / job application stuff from 7 pm to what is it now, like 11:15 or something?
• LD blogged for most of the night. Who knew it could/should take so long to write one entry. I'm dying to read it, but I'm also letting my competitive nature kick in and I want to post this before he posts his...just to prove that it doesn't have to take three hours to post a good blog entry! What can I say...I get my jollies where I can these days! I haven't got any high school students to harass.

So, are we lame or what? There was a time when we went out on Friday nights. Now we just sit on our tushes at home and type on the 'puter.

Oh well. This too will pass, right?
