Getting closer!

Well, the time is getting closer and closer 'till the wedding!  YEAH!  I'm so ready!

Last night I was out with the girls – a group of "girls" that I went to High School with & have stayed friends with (although we don't see each other nearly often enough)!  It was very fun!  It was a sort of Bachelorette party/personal shower/girls night out!  Rachel, Debbie, Beth, Kim, Casey, and Lisa all made it out for dinner at the Amarillo Road House & then all but Rachel went on to the Khaki Club in Merrillville for drinks & music & such.

As it turned out the Khaki Club was pretty busy, so we ended up in the Irish Pub that is also in the Radisson hotel complex.  That was actually better...we had a little room to ourselves & could be loud & obnoxious if we wanted to.  (FYI – we weren't that loud, but it was nice to know we could be!)  It was also nice to be alone there as I opened the gifts the girls got me...nothing too naughty, but I did get some really nice sleepwear & some silly valentine-type toys (nothing raunchy...don't even go there!)  I think LD will like what the girls got for me!  Thanks Ladies!

Anyway, we are getting down to the wire.  Most everything is taken care of.  I have to sub (well sort of) on Tuesday.  I'm actually going as a chaperone on the Junior US History Field Trip to Pullman in Chicago.  Hopefully the weather is good...it can be nasty & this is an outdoor field trip!  Can you believe that – in February?  I'm actually not sure what I'm gonna do tomorrow...nothing is on my agenda!  Whoa!

I'm trying to figure out what to pack for the honeymoon.  My dad suggested I pack like he did for his honeymoon...nothing!  He was totally kidding, but we do intend to do things other than just spend 2 weeks in bed, so I guess I'd better figure out what to wear, HUH?

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing loads of people on Friday & Saturday!  I'm ready to have a great time...hopefully those of you who will be joining us are ready for that too!
