Tis the season to say THANK YOU

Happy early Thanksgiving!  Thought I'd say that now, as I'm sure I'll not post much between now & then & because Larry & I will be joining his family in Florida for Cousin Carrie's wedding over the holiday weekend!

Today at school we had faculty devotions and one of my colleagues brought up all the mundane things she is thankful for.  It made me think about how blessed I truly am and how I often take so much of that for granted.  So, here's just a little listing of what I'm thankful for (& it is not in any particular order):

• Jesus Christ, my Lord & Savior


• Larry Dean Stephens, Jr – the best fiancé ever!


• My family – Mom, Dad, Dar, Joe, Pete, Rae, all the kids, my Grandma's, my many aunts & uncles, my numerous cousins…they are all pretty amazing!


• My house


• My job


• The kids at my school


• my colleagues


• my car


• technology (computers, cell phones, the internet, ATMs, CD players, etc.)


• The Bible


• good roads


• airplanes


• language


• the sense of smell


• a brain that I can use to think, discern, contemplate, etc.


• my health


• friends who care about me


• celebrations


• laughter


• sleep


• diet coke


• coffee


• fun clothes (can't wait to wear my new dress in FL)


• gum


• photography


• the ability to run, skip, jump, hop (ask LD about Turkey Run)


• Blue skies & blue eyes


• warm showers


• nice smells


• music


• being alive!

May you use this time to reflect on God's goodness to you and pause and say Thanks!
